He served in many roles with that department and Shreveport Fire Department. Grayson served as Fire Chief of CFD 5 from May of 2002 until June of 2011. Grayson was elected as Justice of the Peace of Ward 8 in November of 2014 until his resignation this June. Boucher has three hot button issues he plans to focus a lot of time on in the upcoming months, which are all related to a better quality of life in Shreveport; crime, economic development, and continuing the repair and replacement of the aging infrastructure in Shreveport.

"I have been a leader, I have planned, executed and managed a budget. I have the skills that Shreveport needs to move forward. Shreveport is a great place and can be even better if we all work together," Boucher said.
